Protects hose against the effects of flexing at its most vulnerable point - immediately behind the coupling. End 'tang' allows end guard to be secured under a clamp or ferrule. Made of half-round galvanized steel or 304 stainless steel wire to fit most hose OD's from 1/2" to 3 1/4".
