(8)This spring check valve is machined and polished to 3A standards. The clamp assembly design allows quick and easy maintenance and has a special angled plunger design to prevent even low pressure leak-through.

(4)When liquid flows through the valve, the ball is forced into the branch of the valve allowing full fluid flow. When the liquid stops, equalizing the pressure, the ball drops back into the seat, preventing backflow. Should reverse flow occur, the differential pressure will cause the ball to seal firmly against the seat preventing leakage.

(15)The air blow check valve is designed to pressurize lines with air to clean out product or cleaning solutions. It is fail-safe because the simple air-to-open, spring-to-close mechanism prevents backflow. Can be used with a ball check valve. The valves are available with three different end configurations to allow quick assembly and disassembly when replacing filter media, cleaning or inspecting. Conforms to 3A accepted practice 604-05 for supplying air under pressure in contact with milk products and product contact surfaces with optional filter disc.
